The Smoke Alarm Company Pty Ltd has been established to provide peace of mind to all, regarding the reliable installation and responsible maintenance service of Smoke Alarms and Residual Current Devices (RCD’s) in Western Australia.

It’s now your duty of care to protect your clients, and to make sure smoke alarms are installed and kept in ‘full working order’.

The Smoke Alarm Company Pty Ltd Maintenance program includes the following:

  •      Ensuring smoke alarms are securely fastened to the wall or ceiling
  •      Check that smoke alarms show no evidence of physical damage, paint application, or excessive grease and dirt accumulation      (clean when required)
  •      Check that smoke alarm signal sounds when test device is operated
  •      Replace 9v batteries annually
  •      Smoke Spray test smoke alarm, clean & unblock ventilation censors (bugs, insects, spider webs, dust particles, etc)
  •      Ensure battery terminals are free of corrosion and signs of leakage
  •      Inspect and monitor smoke alarm(s) for expiry date
  •      Professional recording keeping of maintenance & inspections for each property
  •      Written compliance and inspection reports
