From the 1st of October 2009 it became compulsory in Western Australia for all dwellings (ie buildings and homes for rent, sale or hire), built before 1997 to INSTALL and MAINTAIN hard wired smoke alarms.

New Western Australian business, The Smoke Alarm Company offers a comprehensive Maintenance Package to help home owners and the like become compliant, and we are the only ones in the State to offer this service.

The Smoke Alarm Company Pty Ltd. aims to help relieve the responsibility and hassle of ensuring a property is compliant, by offering a complete annual Maintenance Programme to property managers, real estate agents, settlement agents, lessers and home owners (in accordance with building regulations 2009 Part 10 A, subsection 38 P).  We specialise in the maintenance and upkeep of smoke alarms, and can therefore offer a more competitive price than other general electrical contractors. We also have no call out fee (a saving of more than $80 for our clients).
